1 June 2007: First children move into new accommodation
Misthy has confirmed that the first 23 children have moved into the accommodation block that the two groups of Bristol-based volunteers worked on in 2006. There are still many issues to be resolved, including the provision of electricity to the building and a water reservoir. We are working with Misthy, and knowledgeable contacts in the UK, to help establish a power system that does not rely solely on a diesel generator, but makes use of solar energy.
