The children in the care of the Centre are orphaned (some of them as a result of the AIDS epidemic affecting adults and their children throughout Africa), or their families are otherwise unable to attend to their needs.
The Centre provides for the children in 2 ways:
· offering purpose-built accommodation, or
· contributing to costs incurred by extended family in looking after the child.
Your sponsorship means that your sponsored child will receive at least one nourishing meal per day, will be clothed and will be able to attend school, enabling him or her to make a valuable contribution to the community.
Also, child sponsorship offers sponsors a unique opportunity to learn about the lives of people, in a different part of the world, who do not have the same material possessions and chances that we enjoy here.
